NPCI has introduced a new payment feature called UPI Circle. It allows two or more individuals to share the same bank account for UPI transactions. For example, if a user's parents do not have UPI accounts, the user can link them with his UPI account, then they can also transact through UPI. In this, users can use the same bank account for small amount transactions through UPI. However, in this, the primary user has the rights to give access to other family members, set transaction limits, authorize transactions, etc. Even if the secondary user does not have a bank account, they can still transact through UPI Circle.
Who is the primary user in UPI Circle?
The bank account holder is the primary user of the UPI circle. He has the authority of the UPI circle. The primary user adds people to the circle and manages the transactions. What is required for UPI Circle?

- The contact number of the secondary user must be in the contact list for the primary user.

How to add secondary user in UPI Circle

How to pay through UPI Circle?

step 1: The secondary user has to scan the QR code and request for payment after entering the amount.
Step-2: Then the payment request will be sent to the primary user for approval. If the secondary user has got approval for partial delegation, then in this case the primary user will have to give approval for payment every time. On the other hand, if the secondary user has got approval for full delegation, then the secondary user can make transactions up to the monthly limit i.e. Rs 15000 without the approval of the primary user. In this, the maximum limit for a single transaction is Rs 5,000.
Step-3: Once the payment is completed, it will be visible in the secondary user's UPI app.
